Introduction
Stick Hero is a simple yet addictive game developed by Ketchapp. Released in 2014, it gained popularity for its minimalist design and challenging gameplay. In Stick Hero, you control a stick-wielding character who must navigate a series of platforms by extending a stick to bridge the gaps between them. The objective is to stretch the stick to the perfect length—neither too short nor too long—to safely reach the next platform and earn points.
How to play
Extending the Stick
- Click (or tap) and hold to make the stick grow longer. The longer you hold, the longer the stick becomes.
- Release to stop extending the stick and let it fall across the gap.
Crossing the gap
- If the stick is the right length (just touching or slightly overlapping the next platform), the stick figure will walk across it to safety.
- If the stick is too short (doesn’t reach the platform) or too long (extends past the platform’s edge), the stick figure will fall, and the game ends.
Scoring points
- You earn one point for each platform you successfully reach.
- Occasionally, a cherry appears in the gap. If your stick lands perfectly (centered on the next platform), the character can grab the cherry for bonus points.
