Introduction
Mountain Hop is a fun and engaging platform adventure game that challenges players to navigate a character—starting with a cute pink bunny—down a treacherous mountain. The objective is to hop from one platform to another while avoiding a variety of obstacles and enemies, collecting stars along the way to unlock new characters like rabbits, sheep, bears, tigers, and elephants.
The game combines simple controls with a fast-paced, reflex-testing experience set against a vibrant, scenic mountain backdrop. As you descend, the mountain narrows, and the challenges intensify with hazards like poison potions, cracked platforms, TNT explosives, and menacing foes such as the Grim Reaper, lions, zombies, and wolves.
How to play
Controls
- PC: Use the Left and Right arrow keys to move your character horizontally.
- Mobile: Swipe left or right on the screen to move, and tap to hop. Use the pause button (usually in the top right corner) to pause.
Gameplay
- Start with the default character, a pink bunny, and hop downward by moving left or right.
- The mountain platforms disappear or crumble as you progress, so you must keep moving to avoid falling into the abyss.
- You can only move downward—there’s no going back up
Obstacles and hazards
- Poison potions: Stepping into poison requires you to find an antidote within 5 seconds, or the game ends.
- Cracked platforms: These collapse immediately when stepped on, so avoid them.
- TNT: Explodes shortly after you land on it—hop off quickly!
- Enemies: Avoid characters like the Grim Reaper, lions, zombies, and wolves, which can end your run if you collide with them.
- Spikes and Traps: These cause instant game over if touched.
