Introduction
Fireboy and Watergirl 1: Forest Temple is a 2D cooperative puzzle platformer developed by Oslo Albet. Released in 2009, it is the first game in the popular Fireboy and Watergirl series, where players control two elemental characters Fireboy and Watergirl through a series of temple-themed levels filled with puzzles, traps, and treasures. In Forest Temple, Fireboy (immune to fire but harmed by water) and Watergirl (immune to water but harmed by fire) explore a mysterious temple in the forest with 32 levels. The goal is to guide both characters to their respective exits (Fireboy to the red door, Watergirl to the blue door) while collecting gems (red for Fireboy, blue for Watergirl) and solving puzzles. Levels include many elements such as levers, buttons, moving platforms, and elemental hazards such as lakes of fire and lakes of water, where green slime can be fatal to both.
