Introduction
1 on 1 Soccer is a simplified, fast-paced version of soccer (football) where two players face off against each other on a small field. Unlike traditional 11-a-side soccer, this format focuses on individual skill, quick decision-making, and head-to-head competition. It’s a fun, competitive way to enjoy soccer without needing a full team, making it popular for casual play, training drills, or even online gaming versions. The objective remains the same as in regular soccer: score more goals than your opponent by getting the ball into their net.
How to play
1. Choose mode
- Single Player: Select this to face off against the computer. You’ll often pick a difficulty level for the AI opponent.
- Two Player: Invite a friend to play on the same device. This mode splits the controls between you and your opponent for a local multiplayer experience.
2. Select your team: Before the match begins, choose a country or team to represent. This is mostly cosmetic but adds a fun, personalized touch.
3. Control
- Player 1 (Left Side): Use the WASD keys.
- W: Jump
- A: Move left
- S: Move down (or crouch in some versions)
- D: Move right
- Player 2 (Right Side): Use the arrow keys.
- Up Arrow: Jump
- Left Arrow: Move left
- Down Arrow: Move down
- Right Arrow: Move right
- The match takes place on a small, rectangular field with a goal at each end.
- Your goal is to maneuver the ball into your opponent’s net while defending your own.
- Use jumps (W or Up Arrow) to head the ball or block shots, and move side-to-side (A/D or Left/Right Arrows) to dribble or intercept.
- The ball bounces naturally, so timing and positioning are key to scoring.
