Merge Cannon: Chicken Defense is a quirky and entertaining game that blends the mechanics of merging and tower defense genres into a chaotic, fun experience. In this game, you are tasked with defending your castle from an unrelenting army of aggressive chickens determined to breach your walls. Unlike traditional tower defense games where you might face orcs or zombies, here your enemies are feathered foes with a comical yet fierce determination to overrun your defenses. The game combines strategic planning with fast-paced action, requiring you to merge cannons to upgrade them while fending off wave after wave of chickens, culminating in a battle against a formidable chicken boss.
How to play
Controls
- Use your mouse (or touch controls on mobile devices) to interact with the game.
- Left-click to select, buy, and merge cannons, or to drag them to desired positions. Click and hold to move cannons, then release to place them.
Starting the Game
- You begin with a castle wall and a small reserve area where cannons can be managed.
- Chickens will approach from the left side of the screen in waves, growing stronger and more numerous as you progress.
Merging Cannons
- Cannons are your main defense. Start with basic Level 1 cannons.
- Drag one cannon onto another of the same level (e.g., two Level 1 cannons) to merge them, creating a more powerful cannon one level higher (e.g., Level 2).
- Continue merging to unlock stronger cannons, with the highest level being 50.
- Place upgraded cannons along the wall’s defensive slots (typically five slots, one per lane) to automatically attack chickens within range.
Earning and Spending Coins:
- Defeat chickens to earn coins, which you can use to buy new cannons or repair your wall.
- Access the shop (usually a button in the center of the screen) to purchase cannons. New cannon types unlock as you level up.
- If your wall takes damage, spend coins to repair and reinforce it.
