In this installment, you’ll explore eerie areas like Halloween World and a bonus cave, encounter special Dynamons with Halloween skins (such as Sauryx in a Frankenstein look and Zonysus as Dracula), and aim to become the ultimate Dynamon Captain under the guidance of Professor Jovani. With 47 missions, epic 1v1 battles, and a variety of creatures to capture and train.
How to play
Choosing your first Dynamon
- After your initial battle, you’ll select your starter Dynamon. Each has a unique elemental type (e.g., fire, water, electric), which affects its strengths and weaknesses in combat. Pick one that suits your playstyle!
Exploring the World
- Areas: Explore Halloween World and the bonus cave, where wild Dynamons roam. These areas are packed with trainers, treasures, and mysteries.
- Missions: Complete 47 quests, ranging from battling opponents to capturing specific Dynamons.
Capturing Dynamons
- Weakening: Encounter wild Dynamons and reduce their health using your Dynamon’s attacks. Watch their health bar—when it’s low (often in the red), they’re ready to catch.
- Catching: Use a “discatch” or capture item (accessed via the bag icon) to add the weakened Dynamon to your team. You can’t capture an opponent’s trained Dynamons, only wild ones.
Battling basics
- Turn-Based Combat: Fights are 1v1, with you and your opponent taking turns. Select attacks from the bottom of the screen when it’s your turn.
- Elemental strategy: Each Dynamon has an elemental type with specific strengths and weaknesses (e.g., water beats fire, electric beats water). Check your Dynamon’s stats on-screen to plan your moves.
- Switching: If your current Dynamon is at a disadvantage, swap to another from your team using the plus button.
Training and leveling up
- Experience: Winning battles earns experience points (XP) for your Dynamons. When the XP bar fills, they level up.
- Evolution: Use items like Dynastones to evolve your Dynamons, unlocking stronger forms and new skills.
- Skills: As they level, Dynamons gain powerful attacks—choose wisely based on your strategy.
