Introduction
Gravity Falls: Vortex of Doom is an exciting online adventure game inspired by the popular Disney animated series Gravity Falls. In this game, players join the beloved twins, Dipper and Mabel Pines, as they find themselves trapped in a mysterious and dangerous alternate dimension known as the “netherverse.” After Mabel accidentally reads an ancient curse from Journal #3, the twins are transported to this eerie realm filled with darkness, death, and supernatural challenges.
The objective is to guide Dipper and Mabel through a series of levels, navigating a split universe where they must work together—or rather, move in sync—to escape and return to the quirky, supernatural town of Gravity Falls.
How to play
Controls
- Left and Right Arrow Keys: Move both Dipper and Mabel horizontally across their respective levels.
- Spacebar: Make both characters jump.
- Note: The twins move at the same time with the same controls, so their actions are synchronized.
Gameplay
- Split universe: Dipper and Mabel are positioned on separate planes—typically one at the top and one at the bottom of the screen. Each twin faces unique obstacles, such as spikes, gaps, or platforms, in their respective paths.
- Synchronization challenge: Since you control both characters simultaneously, you must plan their movements carefully to ensure they avoid hazards and reach the vortex together. For example, a jump might clear a gap for Dipper but cause Mabel to hit a spike if the timing or positioning isn’t right.
- Star collection: To fully complete a level, collect both halves of the star—one on Dipper’s path and one on Mabel’s. This adds an extra layer of difficulty as you navigate the twins to these bonus items.
