Unlike his previous urban heists, Bob now embarks on a thrilling adventure to uncover hidden riches while avoiding mummies, witch doctors, and mystical security systems. With 10 diverse levels, each packed with distinct designs and obstacles, Bob The Robber 5 keeps players engaged as they help Bob navigate this perilous temple to claim its treasures.
How to play
Controls
- Left/Right Arrows (A/D): Move Bob left or right through the temple corridors.
- Up Arrow (W): Interact with objects—enter doors, climb ladders, search for hidden gold coins, or disable traps when standing in front of them.
- Down Arrow (S): Not typically used in this version, but may crouch or hide in some contexts depending on the platform.
- Spacebar (if available): Knock out enemies like mummies or guards when close to them
Stealth is key
- Bob must avoid detection by enemies (mummies, witch doctors, mercenaries) and mystical security cameras (statue eyes). Stay out of their line of sight by hiding in shadows or timing your movements.
- If spotted, enemies may chase you or trigger an alarm, forcing you to restart the level.
Dealing with Enemies
- Approach enemies from behind or when they’re facing away, then knock them out (usually with Spacebar or by timing your move). Be quick—some enemies, like mercenaries, are tougher and may require gadgets.
Overcoming obstacles
- Cameras/Statue Eyes: Hide in shadows or move when they’re not looking. Shadows are dark patches where Bob becomes invisible to detection.
- Locked Doors: Some doors require passcodes (hidden in the level) or gadgets. Search for clues or use the Up Arrow to pick locks when prompted.
- Traps: Disable traps like lasers or rolling boulders by finding control boxes or switches (interact with Up Arrow).
Collecting treasure
- Bob automatically senses nearby gold coins. When he mentions treasure, press the Up Arrow to search objects like vases or crates and collect hidden coins.
- Coins can sometimes be used to purchase upgrades or gadgets between levels
