Introduction
3 Pandas is a popular point-and-click adventure game that follows the journey of three endearing panda brothers, each with unique abilities as they navigate through various challenges and environments. In the first installment, the pandas are captured by pirates and must escape from a ship, traverse a dangerous jungle, and avoid hostile tribal people to make their way back home.
The three pandas each have distinct skills that complement one another: the smallest panda is lightweight and can be thrown to reach high places, the tallest (Slim) can hang or swing to assist the group, and the largest (Biggie) is strong enough to lift his companions or move heavy objects. The objective is to guide the trio through a series of levels by using their abilities creatively to overcome obstacles and progress.
How to play
Controls
- Click on a panda to select it.
- Click above a panda to make it jump.
- Click and drag or click on objects in the environment to interact with them.
- When a panda is selected, a speech bubble may appear above its head showing its special ability—click the bubble to activate it.
Special abilities
- Small panda: Lightweight and can be tossed by the others to reach high platforms or objects.
- Slim panda: Tall and flexible, he can hang from ledges or swing to help the group access new areas.
- Biggie panda: Strong and heavy, he can lift the other pandas or push objects like platforms and stones.
Gameplay
- Each level presents a unique puzzle or obstacle, such as locked doors, gaps, or traps.
- Use the pandas’ abilities in combination to solve these challenges. For example, Biggie might lift Slim, who then hangs down to pull up the Small panda.
- Look for interactive elements in the environment (e.g., levers, buttons, or ropes) that can be manipulated by clicking or dragging.
- The cursor often changes shape (e.g., into an arrow or hand) to indicate possible actions—experiment by moving it around the screen.
