Introduction
Pocket Racing is a fast-paced, engaging motorcycle racing game that blends simple controls with challenging gameplay. In this 2D obstacle course-style game, you take on the role of a stickman rider navigating through 60 diverse levels filled with ramps, spikes, and other hazards. The objective is to reach the finish line while collecting up to three stars per stage.
The game starts with a motorcycle, but as you progress, you unlock additional vehicles like a wheelchair (at level 12), a tractor (at level 24), a scooter (at level 36), and a 4×4 (at level 48). Each vehicle can be used on any unlocked course, offering variety in how you tackle the challenges.
How to play
Controls are intuitive: accelerate with the right arrow key and decelerate with the left, with midair adjustments allowing you to rotate clockwise or counterclockwise to stick your landings.
Gameplay
Racing
- Drive your vehicle across platforms, ramps, and gaps.
- Time your acceleration and deceleration to navigate jumps and avoid hazards like spikes or swinging pendulums (introduced in later levels).
- Collect stars scattered across the course—some are on the main path, while others require exploring branching routes.
Landing and balance
- Control your vehicle’s angle in midair to land upright. A bad landing can cause you to flip over and crash.
- If falling to a lower platform, adjust your tilt (left or right) to avoid tipping over.
Hazards and challenges
- Avoid crashing into obstacles, falling off platforms, or flipping your vehicle, as these result in a level restart (unlimited continues are available).
- Later levels introduce moving hazards, requiring precise timing.
