Introduction
Laser Overload is an engaging and visually appealing puzzle game. The core objective is to connect power sources to batteries by aiming laser beams with mirrors, creating an energy grid to “charge” the batteries. Once the puzzle is completed, the entire grid will be electrified and the power supply will take place.
How to play
Controls
- Tap or click on the energy source (a circle with a laser) to rotate it clockwise.
- Tap or click on mirrors to rotate them clockwise. Mirrors reflect the laser beam in different directions based on their orientation.
- Use your mouse (on PC) or finger (on mobile) to interact with these elements.
Gameplay
- Mirrors: Position and rotate mirrors strategically to guide the laser beam toward the battery. Mirrors come in various shapes (e.g., triangles, cubes, plates) depending on the level’s difficulty.
- Energy path: The laser must form a continuous path from the source to the battery without interruptions.
- Stars: In later levels, stars appear as optional collectibles. Direct the laser to light up these stars before reaching the battery to earn bonus coins (1 star = 5 coins). Collecting all three stars in a level maximizes your reward.
- Special elements: As you progress, additional tools like teleports (flickering circles that transport the laser) and gears (rotating multiple objects simultaneously) add complexity to the puzzles.
