Introduction
Apple Worm is a fun and challenging puzzle game that combines elements of the classic Snake game with unique puzzle-solving mechanics. In this game, you control a small, hungry worm navigating through a series of mazes to eat apples and reach an exit portal. With 30 or more levels (depending on the version), each increasing in difficulty, Apple Worm tests your logic, planning, and spatial reasoning skills. The goal is to guide the worm to the portal without getting stuck, falling off platforms, or hitting obstacles, making it a deceptively tricky brain teaser disguised as a lighthearted adventure.
How to play

- Use W.A.S.D or arrow keys on a keyboard to move the worm up, down, left, or right.
- On mobile devices, tap on-screen buttons
- Press R or the retry button to restart a level if you get stuck.
Gameplay
- Movement: The worm moves one tile at a time in the direction you choose but cannot move backward.
- Eating apples: Each apple the worm eats adds one segment to its body, making it longer. A longer body helps bridge gaps, climb walls, or reach higher platforms but can make navigation trickier.
- Portals: Reach the black vortex or portal to complete the level. You often need to eat the apple to grow long enough to access it.
- Physics: The worm can bend and cling to surfaces, even hanging off edges if part of its body is supported. Use this to maneuver through tight spaces or create “bridges” with its body.
- Obstacles: Some levels include blocks to push, switches to activate, or hazards like spikes to avoid. Later levels require creative strategies to manipulate these elements.
