Introduction
Connect 4 is a classic two-player strategy game that has been enjoyed by people of all ages since its release in 1974. The game is played on a vertical, grid-like board with seven columns and six rows. The objective is to be the first player to connect four of your colored discs in a row, either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally while simultaneously blocking your opponent from doing the same.
How to play
- Taking Turns: Players alternate turns, dropping one of their colored discs into any of the seven columns. The disc will fall to the lowest available position within that column.
- Strategize: Players aim to form a line of four discs horizontally, vertically, or diagonally while preventing their opponent from achieving the same.
- Winning the Game: The first player to successfully align four consecutive discs wins the game.
- Draw Condition: If all 42 slots are filled without a player forming a line of four, the game ends in a draw
