Introduction
Diner Dash is a time management and strategy game originally developed by PlayFirst (now owned by Glu Mobile). First released in 2004, the game became a hit because of its fast-paced gameplay and engaging restaurant theme. You play as Flo, a hardworking waitress who serves customers at various restaurants to earn tips, upgrade her diner, and progress through the levels. The goal is to keep customers happy, manage resources efficiently, and meet daily revenue targets.
How to play
Gameplay
- Seating: Drag customers from the waiting line to available tables. Match their clothing color to tablecloths for bonus points (in some versions).
- Taking Orders: Click on a table when customers are ready to order. Flo will take their orders and send them to the kitchen.
- Serving Food: When food is ready, click the table to deliver it.
- Clearing Tables: After customers eat, click to clear plates and collect tips.
- Cashing Out: Click the cash register to check out customers, freeing up tables.
Customer happiness
- Customers have heart meters showing their satisfaction. Faster service keeps hearts high; delays cause hearts to drop.
- If hearts run out, customers leave, costing you points.
Chaining actions: Perform the same action (e.g., serving multiple tables) in a row for bonus points.
Power-Ups and Upgrades
- Earn money to upgrade Flo’s speed, restaurant decor, or add items like coffee or snacks to keep customers happy.
- Some versions include special abilities or boosts.
