How to play
Game setup

- Choose a team, each with distinct strengths (e.g., passing, rushing).
- Pick a difficulty level that suits your skill.
- Select a formation (how players line up) to align with your strategy.
Controls
- Movement: Use WASD or Arrow keys to move your player.
- Passing: Left-click to select a receiver or drag to control pass power/direction; click to switch players on offense or defense.
- Snapping/Speed: Press the Spacebar to snap the ball (start a play) or use a speed burst while running.
- Kicking: Use the mouse to aim and set power for field goals or punts.
- Additional controls are explained in-game.
Gameplay
- Game structure: Each game has two 5-minute halves. The clock stops for incomplete passes, out-of-bounds plays, or side changes, with a one-minute warning per half. Overtime is sudden-death, where the first team to score wins.
- Offense: As the quarterback, choose plays from the playbook (run, pass, or special plays like punts/field goals). Decide to pass to a receiver or run. On fourth down, punt, attempt a field goal, or “go for it” to gain a first down or score. After a touchdown, opt for an extra point (field goal) or a two-point conversion.
- Defense: Select from six defensive formations to stop the opponent from advancing. Tackle ball carriers or intercept passes to prevent scores or regain possession.
- Scoring: Touchdowns (6 points), field goals (3 points), safeties (2 points, when tackling the offense in their end zone), or extra points/two-point conversions after touchdowns.
- Clock management: Use timeouts (three per half) or plays like spiking the ball to stop the clock. Intentional grounding (throwing the ball away) risks interception but can save time.
